My name is Takashi Uesugi（上杉隆です）. It is 20 years since I first came to the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan (FCCJに最初に来てから約20年が経ちます). The first time I came, as I recall was during the 1999 Tokyo Governors election campaign, as secretary to Former Justice Minister, Kunio Hatoyama who sadly passed away last year.(1999年の都知事選、昨年亡くなった鳩山邦夫の随行秘書としてやってきたのが最初です).
